Our annual Live and in Colour event is a chance for our practitioners to learn, spend time connecting with each other and of course, to have fun.
This year our Live and in Colour conference was centred around the theme of leadership. Jas Hawker of Mission Excellence delivered a truly fantastic keynote speech about leading high performance teams. The former Red Arrows pilot generated a lot of conversation and made us ask the question: ‘What does make a good leader?’
We went on to share some valuable activities from the Discovering Leadership Effectiveness programme, which practitioners can use in their own leadership development sessions. Our objective was to give practitioners the tools they need to apply the day’s learning in their own businesses, so give-aways included a guide to measuring impact and a list of leadership solutions that the delegates created during the afternoon session.
We also gave away sunglasses and beach balls, which were popular despite the typical British summer showers!
Guest speakers included Licensed Practitioner Paul Thompson, who delivered an engaging case study session about delivering an Executive Leadership programme, and Client Practitioners Shelley Spray and Paul Whitehouse, who demonstrated how Insights Discovery has real impact within the NHS.
UK General Manager Alex Keay reported that “there was a real buzz from the participants and we really felt this positive energy throughout the day. Thanks to all of the attendees for putting so much enthusiasm into every conversation".
We are so proud and privileged to have spent time with our wonderful, inspiring practitioner community. We’ve already begun planning for next year’s Live and in Colour and expect that it will be bigger and better than ever!
