Insights collects data via feedback forms (“Feedback”) for its products and services to enhance user experience and improve service offerings. Data is collected anonymously unless users choose to share their email addresses. Users who provide their email addresses may be contacted for further information or to participate in video interviews to gain deeper insights into their feedback.
This privacy notice sets out how Insights collect and process personal data for the Feedback. This Notice complies with the retained EU law version of the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018).

Any reference in this Notice to “we” “our”, “us” or “Insights” means The Insights Learning & Development Limited and our affiliates. Insights is a "controller”, this means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information about you.
This Notice governs our practices in relation to the personal data collected and processed by Insights for the Feedback and any subsequent interviews only. Please refer to our General Privacy Notice for details on how we collect and process data to provide our products and services.
A research interview is a conversation designed to gather further feedback and commentary on our products and services. During this process, we talk to customers and potential customers to understand the problems they face and their needs. We may also ask for feedback on early prototypes and concepts to confirm that the solutions we are formulating address the problems raised.
You are under no obligation to provide us with any of the data we request or any personal data. Please do not provide your email if you wish to complete the form anonymously or do not want to be contacted by us for further information.
When you provide Feedback on our products and services, data is collected anonymously unless users choose to share their email addresses. Users who share their email addresses may be contacted for further information or to participate in a research interview.
Insights will not use your data for automated decision-making purposes.
Your email, if provided, will be collected via the Feedback.
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, a videoconferencing tool and stored locally by Insights.
Insights does not collect use or process special category personal data from Interview participants.
We will only collect and process personal data if we have a lawful basis to do so.
The processing of data for Feedback is done with your consent only.
Data gathered from the Feedback will be stored by Insights and will not be shared with any third parties.
Data gathered from your participation in the Interview will be pseudonymised as soon as reasonably practicable following collecting. The results of the Interview will not be shared outside of Insights, including the Insights group of companies. We have intragroup agreements in place to ensure that any personal data shared within our group is protected.
Information that Insights holds is securely stored in the UK and EU via secure servers.
We will only transfer your data internationally when we have appropriate safeguards and a lawful basis in place.
Data gathered from the Feedback will be retained for a maximum of 2 years, after which they will be fully anonymised.
Interview recordings and associated data will be retained for a maximum of 2 years, after which they will be securely deleted or fully anonymised.
